About Us
Viterra Logistics Ltd. was established in 2006, primarily in order to meet the warehousing demands of the Hungarian grain market. Following the establishment of the company we made greenfield investments for the construction of grain storage facilities in Gyomaendrőd and Foktő and bought existing facilities in Debrecen and Berettyóújfalu to increase our geographical coverage. Viterra also operates a port facility on the Danube in Foktő, suitable for the loading and unloading of bulk grains.
The main activity of the company is the bulk storage and handling of grains and oilseeds, besides which we are also involved in purchasing, drying, sieving, inventory control, and intermodal transhipment activities.
